The AL1002S is the second most popular of the Al Mar elegant mid-lock folders is the Hawk (the Osprey being first). The 3.25" closed Al Mar Hawk, sized between the ordinary pocketknife and a pen knife, is the perfect size for dress trousers. The long stainless steel Barlow style bolsters give the knife a well balanced look and permit the use of rare handle materials like black lip pearl from the waters around Tahiti. Just recently re-introduced, it is available in eight handle materials. In addition to the Stag, it is also available with Black Micarta, Cocobolo, Honey Jigged Bone, Stainless Steel, Mother-of-Pearl, Black Pearl and White Micarta handles.
